Christmas Greetings from the Lutheran Library for the Blind!

It is our prayer, as volunteers at the Lutheran Library for the Blind, that you will use the attached bulletin insert to use for helping us promote this year's performance of "Saint Nicholas Speaks" as a fundraiser benefit for the Lutheran Library for the Blind.  This year, Grace Lutheran Church and School in Jacksonville has volunteered their facilities and members to host the benefit, Sunday December 10th, which will include an opening of caroling with interludes involving their men's and bell choirs, Gene Sutherland performing as Saint Nicholas, a refreshment intermix between the 5:00 and 7:00 P.M. performances and more.  We hope you will encourage support of this unique and awesome ministry that is a key supplier for the visually impaired and blind throughout the United States and Canada with Christian Books in specialized Braille, Large Print and Audio formats.  It is an event your members, their friends, neighbors, and families won't want to miss that is geared to highlight their Christmas season!  If you have any questions, please contact us as noted below. Wishing you a blessed Christmas!

We Need Your Help!

Are you looking for a way to participate in The Great Commission?  This month we will begin to identify extra copies of books in our library, record them, remove them from our shelves and pack them for shipment to help establish a library for a blind school in India.  Volunteers are needed to assist with this new endeavor.
