With the recent announcement of the Braille Circulating Library's closure after 100 years of service, I Read I See Lending Library for the Blind is honored to carry forward their legacy by receiving their entire collection of braille and cassette tape books.

To make this transition a success, we need your help!

We are currently seeking volunteers to assist with the following tasks:

  • Packing up books.

  • Helping convert cassette tapes to digital audio files.

  • Unpacking and inventorying thousands of cassette tape books from two historic libraries to prepare them for digitization

Volunteer Hours:

Monday - Friday | 10:00 Am - 4:00 PM

Groups are welcome and can be scheduled in advance.

This is a unique opportunity to be part of preserving and modernizing vital resources for the blind and visually impaired community.
